Terms of Service
Last updated: 25 April 2026
These terms govern your use of BriefMe Pro (the “Service”). By creating an account or accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
BriefMe Pro is operated by Anjishnu Mukhopadhyay (the “Provider”, “we”, “us”). Contact: support@briefme.pro.
2. The Service
BriefMe Pro aggregates publicly available news and event data, scores it for severity, confidence, and coverage, clusters duplicates across sources, and presents the result as an interactive map with optional AI-generated scenario commentary. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
3. Eligibility & accounts
You must be 18 or older. You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@briefme.pro if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Subscription & billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, via Stripe or Razorpay.
- Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
- You can cancel any time from Account → Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
- Prices may change with at least 30 days’ advance notice by email.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to violate any law or third-party right;
- scrape, copy, or redistribute the aggregated feed in bulk;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or probe the Service for vulnerabilities outside a coordinated disclosure;
- resell access, or share your account credentials with another person;
- use the Service to generate or distribute misinformation, harassment, or content that targets a real person or group;
- attempt to overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure.
6. Content & intellectual property
Source articles remain the property of their respective publishers. The Service’s software, scoring algorithms, UI, and aggregated outputs are owned by the Provider. You receive a non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service while your subscription is active. AI-generated scenario text is provided for analysis only and may not be republished as original journalism.
7. No professional advice; accuracy disclaimer
The Service is informational only. It is not financial, legal, medical, military, or diplomatic advice. Source data and AI predictions may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Do not rely on the Service for safety-of-life or trading decisions.
8. Third parties
The Service uses Stripe (payments), Razorpay (payments, India), Resend (email), Groq (LLM), Google & Apple (sign-in). Their terms apply to their portion of the flow. We are not responsible for outages or policy changes by these providers.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider’s aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 50. The Provider is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, fraudulent payments, or risk to other users. You may delete your account any time from Account → Danger Zone, which triggers data deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of the Provider’s residence, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual (not class) basis, except that either party may bring small-claims actions or seek injunctive relief in court.
